I’ve always had a love for art and have been a tattoo enthusiast, even before receiving my first one at the age of 18. The history and tradition of all art forms fascinates me, so much so, that I went to school to study it. I recieved my Bachelors in Fine Arts in 1995, after studying in NY and later graduating from the University of South Florida.

In 2016, I stood by my wife’s side as we opened Shear Joy, our first hair salon, where our mission has always been to “touch more hearts than hair.”

Being an SMP specialist has been the perfect meld allowing me to be involved in the salon, using my love for tattooing and degree in art to its fullest potential. I throughly enjoy the artistic license, but even more so helping my clients look and feel their best. The confidence that comes with Scalp Micro Pigmentation can bring, is like no other I have ever experienced.

I am thrilled that Shear Joy offers more than just beautiful hair, but that we also offer so many solutions for hair loss. Our salon has two certified trichologists that are able to examine the scalp under a miscroscope. We also offer wigs and hair pieces, laser hair therapy, specialized hair products to aid in hair restoral and now SMP. We look forward to serving you, there’s no reason to live without hair!

Mandy Loves Jesus and has a passion for doing hair, specializing in grey coverage as well as grey blending. She genuinely believes that hairstylists have the ability to make people feel and look their best, not only when they leave the salon, but throughout their daily lives. her true passion lies in helping others grow. She strongly believes in mentorship and strives to make everyone feel like they belong. Mandy is a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud Gigi.

Because I’m analytical, I am able to assist in overall salon growth by mentoring my coworkers. I do this by helping them set their weekly goals and expectations. When I am not in the salon, you can find me spending time with my family and friends.

I have been a stylist for 10 years and I love everything about doing hair! My passion is to make men and women feel their best when they leave my chair. I’d consider myself a well rounded hairstylist.

I also specialize in men’s cutting, they’re some of my favorite to do!My family is everything to me, I’m a mom to two children and love to spend quality time with them. Some of my favorite things are the beach, music and art.

I am a color specialist who is dedicated to living out my faith in Christ and sharing joy with every person who sits in my chair. Florida girl, born and raised. I love the beach, the outdoors and love working on my health and fitness. I enjoy talking to clients from all walks of life and listening to their stories.

Building confidence in women by bringing life and health back into the hair is my ultimate goal! I do this with treatments such as Keratin complex and acidic bonding. My favorite salon encounter is a beautiful color transformation with a hot tools style and great photos to send you home with to show all your friends!

I’ve been licensed since 2012 but took some time away to care for my daughter before I came to Shear Joy. I enjoy getting to know clients, having conversations with them and making them feel their best.

It’s important to me to continue my education, to be knowledgeable in my field so that I am able to deliver the best results I can. In my spare time I enjoy the beach, spending time relaxing and laughing with my family and friends.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, having just recently moved to Clearwater. I love having a career where I can express my passion and show creativity at the same time. I enjoy haircutting and working with vivid colors and I am also certified in Hotheads Tape in Extensions.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast and nature lover and when I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me out fishing.

Hi my name is Ashley! I graduated from Marchman Technical College and have been doing hair since 2021. I’m color specialist, and a few of my favorite services are blonding and styling. I love helping my clients feel confident and beautiful!

In my free time I like to watch movies, walk my dogs, go shopping, and spend time with my family and friends. I’m very excited to continue to grow and advance my career at Shear Joy Salon!

My name is Elena, I am the in house nail technician here at Shear Joy Salon. I am happy to assist with all nail, hand, and feet care, along with enhancing their beauty with a fresh manicure or pedicure.

Whether you prefer a dramatic acrylic set or keep things more natural with a gel mani, I am the girl for you! I specialize in detailed hand painted nail art, but just about anything thrown my way is an opportunity to expand my craft.

I joined cosmetology school with the goal of being a specialized nail tech but the more I immersed myself into the hair world I was hooked. I am currently working with a few of our master stylists to further develop my skills. But I am looking forward to new possibilities that the art of hair has to offer, and building my career being a well rounded cosmetologist.

Hi my name is Devyn! Growing up I was always “the art girl” and so I thought, why not become a hairstylist? I already do my own hair! (I’ve been purple, blue, pink, back to purple, back to pink and blonde!) I recently graduated cosmetology school and I have fallen in love with cutting, vivid coloring, and styling!

My name is Arielle DeBernardi, and I’m a proud Filipina raised in Tampa, FL. I graduated from the Aveda Institute of Tampa Bay in July 2024. I chose this career not only because I find joy in serving others, but also because helping women see the beauty in themselves in a broken world is very important to me.
